Every Extra Virgin Olive oil in our online shop has been personally chosen not only for its outstanding quality, flavour and aromas, but also for the dedication and innovation made by our olive oil producers and olive oil mills owners.

For this reason, we greatly value traveling to visit the passionate producers who make this superb olive oil. They walk us through their olive groves, sharing the history of their company and passion for olive oil; we observe their meticulous production methods from harvest to press; and of course, we sample their freshly pressed olive oil.

Our team of experts travel to discover the best of the best extra virgin olive oil producers. This process includes visiting their estates, reviewing their production methods, and tasting their products every single harvest year.

The mill Americo Quattrociocchi, is located among olive trees on a beautiful hillside, around 1 hour south of Rome and few KM from the sea. Reference point of infinite historical and cultural treasures.
We arrived at Almerico farm in November 2nd during milling activity. We were able to follow all the phases of milling of his splendid Olives.

Americo follows directly all the phases of the milling. But he also has valid collaborators who came from time to time to ask for his recommendations

The temperature of the olive oil is brought to minimum levels in this phase of the milling and Americo pointed out to me how cold the pipeline was.

Tasting time was exciting. During this last part of the visit Americo recalled his grandmother and then his father, from the first he remembered how he learned to make tomato sauces and jams, instead of his father he recalls how He learned the love and respect for the land.
